Excellent Customer Service; Taste is Personal
"We recently purchased a few different flavoured decaf coffees, just to see which ones we might like. We expected that some would be more enjoyable (to us) than others and that’s part of the process. The down side is that sometimes the taste is totally different from the name. The Butter Pecan was one of those flavours that tasted much different to us; it had a very strong overtone of coconut once brewed. I called the company, left a message, and received a callback almost immediately. I explained the situation and they offered to provide us with an alternate if we really didn’t like it. Given that this was an experiment to begin with (and hating to waste), we decided to see if it was something that might grow on us if we thought of it as “Coconut Breeze”. Anyhow, we know everyone’s taste is subjective but it should be known that Gold Star seems to look after their customers. Give them a try! S & T Okotoks, AB"

"The Caramilk flavoured decaffeinated coffee is my favourite flavour! I have tried most of decaffeinated flavours from the entire Gold Star Coffee lineup. But the Caramilk decaffeinated coffee is the most authentic of all the flavours! It truly reminds me of eating a Caramilk chocolate bar, as it is a perfect blending of chocolate and caramel undertones."

"I've tried a few different decaf coffees and I really really love this decaf. I buy the flavoured whole beans - favourites being coconut and snicker doodle. Shipment is SO FAST. Sometimes comes the next day! All their regular flavoured whole beans are also very nice. I've tried coconut, Jack Frost, snicker doodle, blueberry, raspberry, macadamia nut, etc and was never ever disappointed."
Decaf worth drinking
"The Kona and Columbian decafs from Gold Star are superb. These are rich, smooth and complex coffees that I can drink any time of day without heartburn. The customer service is first rate if you have a question or want a particular grind. Fast, reasonablly priced shipping. These people are the best."
